Featured Artist: Thin Acid Angels

Thin Acid Angel formed in 2000 out of late night sessions at the legendary Coast Recorders in San Francisco. Guitarist Loren and singer Minor Gray created a sound that gave props to their hard rocking roots and borrowed from a number of eclectic genres.
Playing with a many other musicians in the bay area clubs, they formed the perfect combination with the addition of bassist Dainzo and drummer Beerwolf. Old school elements of Deep Purple, UFO and Thin Lizzy, and fringe punk band The Damned can be heard in the band’s progressive backdrop. Ominous feedback and a driving rhythm lay the foundation for their lyrical storytelling. Thin Acid Angel’s live shows are straight up hard rock, with tight arrangements and an unpredictable stage show. |
