Featured Artist: Half Past Punk

The story of Half Past Punk begins when Mike and Reyna contacted each other on craigslist. They got together and wrote the song “My Disease” on the first night. They knew they had a musical connection and wrote six more songs within a month. Then they searched for band members to no avail so the reformed as a duo with Mike on drums and lead vocals and Reyna on guitar and background vocals. Half Past Punk blend elements of punk, hardcore, rock, and alternative. Their influences include AFI, Minor Threat, The Vandals, and Yesterdays. Their live show is full of energy and emotion always striving to make the audience have as much fun as they do. With out each other, nothing would be possible; music is their life and nothing or no one can stop this dynamic duo! |
