Deficit integrates elements of old school thrash and speed metal with new age progressive rock creating a unique sound that separates them from the typical metal bands. They are influenced by such bands as Slayer, Metallica, Megadeath and lamb of god. Lightning fast heavy metal riffs over melodic power chords are combined with the driving constant double bass beats of a speed metal band. Deficit is Eric Szczesny (vocals and rhythm guitar), Josh Lloyd (lead guitar). Dave Lloyd (drums), and Mark Harrison(bass and backup vocals). Hailing from Chicago they have been rockin’ since 2003.
